Join us for February’s Tech on Tap, Thursday February 28th at 6:30 PM, featuring presentation by Northern Exposure Robotics Division. Team 7638 Northern Exposure Robotics Division, formerly Team 6613 Gogebic Range Robotics, is a team comprised of students from the four area schools that competes in the First Robotics Competition (FRC). Each year a task is assigned by the FRC and the students build a robot from scratch to do the assigned task. They then compete in multiple tournaments through the spring and if successful they would go to Worlds. During the 1st year the team won a regional and was able to go to Worlds where they placed well but were not selected to go to the finals. The 2nd year they again placed well in both regionals but did not win their regional.
