The Mercer Library will host its annual tie-dye party on Thursday, July 14 at 11:00 am! In keeping with this year’s “Oceans of Possibilities” summer reading theme, the party will be doing ocean-themed tie-dye shirts!
The library provides t-shirts and all the supplies you need, and there is no cost to participate. There will be a limited number of white t-shirts available, and participants are welcome to bring other 100% cotton or other natural fiber items to dye as well. (The dyes do not work on synthetic fibers.)
Be sure to wear old clothes! You will leave with your dyed items wet in a ziplock bag: they will need to be washed out at home later.
