Volunteers are needed to help control invasive plants at Miners Memorial Heritage Park.
Gogebic Conservation District is organizing an event in Miners Heritage Memorial Park to remove invasive buckthorn.
All are invited to be a part of this important project on Saturday, September 7th from 9AM – 1PM.
Meet at the Ayer St. entrance.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Please dress appropriately for hard work and the weather on the day.
There will be some hand tools for volunteers, but feel free to bring your own.
If you need help with invasive species ID, a short training session will be provided.
