Celebrate Women’s History Month in March!
Ironwood Human Relations and Equity Committee and Ironwood Tourism Council welcome you to take part in special activities planned throughout March.
All Month – See if you can find all of the correct answers in the Scavenger Hunt. Pick up your question sheet at Northwind Natural Foods Co-op. Proceed to participating businesses and learn answers to the scavenger hunt questions about well-known local women. Return your completed form to the Co-op. Participants with all correct answers are eligible to win a gift basket.
March 7, 2025 – First Friday – Come downtown for the reading of the City Proclamation for Women’s History Month. This will be done by Ironwood Mayor, Kim Corcoran @ 4PM at Northwind Natural Foods Co-op. Stroll through participating businesses for a tasting tour. Or even, try one of the specialty foods / drinks created for local women of significance:

March 27, 2025 – The Diversity Matters Reading Group will host a book read / discussion at the Ironwood Carnegie Library at 6:00 PM. Participants will share their opinions of the readings on the suggested book list. The list is on the flyer below. Additional information may be found HERE.
March 29, 2025 – Come to the Historic Ironwood Theatre for a showing of On the Basis of Sex. Thanks to the evening’s sponsors, this will be shown FREE, starting at 7:00 pm.
