The return of live music returns to Downtown Ironwood First Fridays for the 2021 summer season!
Members of the Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company will preform on the City Square stage from 6-7pm.
Area artists & vendors will also be in the City Square from about 4-6pm.
April Stone will demonstrate how she weaves black ash baskets, a traditional and functional artform from indigenous communities along the Great Lakes and northeast forests. Amy Ackley will be painting live as well as bringing her original artwork, photography by Edward S. Curtis and copperplate etchings by Ladislav Hanka.
The Ironwood City Square is located at the corner of Aurora and Lowell Streets (101 W Aurora St.).
Downtown First Fridays are sponsored by the City of Ironwood, downtown Ironwood businesses & organizations, with support from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs.
