Cynthia Stiles will discuss archaeology in Wisconsin and current projects in Iron County and the surrounding area. Stiles has been a professional archaeologist for over 45 years, mostly in the Upper Midwest, and has worked extensively with the Native American tribes in Northern Wisconsin. She is a member of the board of directors for the Wisconsin Archaeological Society. February is time for the “Soup R Bowl,” right? Join the Mercer Library for a soup tasting and recipe sharing event on Friday, February 22 at 12:00 p.m. Bring a pot of your favorite soup to share if you like.
